Command and tool list

The redo toolset comprises these commands. See their manual pages for documentation.

• redo — the main utility for rebuilding

  This is a multi‐call program that can be invoked by several other names:

  • redo-ifchange — a secondary utility for rebuilding targets if existing sources change

  • redo-ifcreate — a secondary utility for rebuilding targets if non-existent sources manifest

  • redo-ifdelete — a secondary utility for rebuilding targets if existent sources vanish

  • redo-info — a utility for printing the internal CubeHash hash and TAI64N timestamps of files that the redo tools use internally

• cubehash — a utility program that outputs CubeHash hashes in a form similar to the sum256 command

• pkg-helper — a helper tool for packaging

  This is a multi‐call program that can be invoked by other names:

  • pkg-gencontrol — a utility program for helping to generate the +MANIFEST files used by the FreeBSD pkg command when creating packages

  • pkg-buildpackage — a utility program for building a suite of packages
